My friend's 11 year old daughter told me about her recent visit to an aquarium. She spent a lot of time near the touch pool, where she "made friends" with the stingrays.She told me that one of the male stingrays was bothering one of the female stingrays and kept trying to sting her on the back. She tried to keep them apart, but to no avail.
She doesn't know yet that once the male starts stinging the female, nothing will stop him.
